Bands travelled from as far north as Borroloola (up near Katherine) and from as far south as Iwantja (in the Pitlands of South Australia) to be part of this incredible showcase concert of remote Indigenous contemporary music. The sounds of desert music and Indigenous voices resonated through the streets of Alice Springs. Once again the event was the biggest event on the

Alice Desert Festival program with over 3000 people attending and it showed support for Indigenous music and culture in the Centre has never been stronger. A positive celebration of  music and culture – kids, old people and families, black and white all dancing to the same rhythm.
